Happy Belated Easter

With everything going on...happy belated Easter.  April is chalk full of birthdays, and of course we said good bye to my Grandma.  It's been nuts-O!

The Friday before Easter we dyed Easter eggs and Lukas had a blast.  Even tipped over one of the colors, but we salvaged it and scooped it back into the cup.  If you notice in the picture above there is no pink, yellow, or any light pretty colors.  Nope.  My son is all about blue and green if you can tell!  With a few orange in there for good measure.  Even though sometimes he tells me his favorite color is pink.  Ha...not that day it wasn't.  He put the pink color pellet in with orange, and the yellow one in with green.  So those colors were missing.

The egg kit came with these 3D glasses.  Lukas thought they were just funny glasses, I thought they make the eggs look neat when you looked at the chalk that we used to draw on them, and my husband said they did nothing.

Megan watched on while we colored eggs.  She chewed on her cup and babbled while we colored the eggs.  After awhile she got pretty cranky and it was bottle time!

Megan's Easter Basket...fairy ball, princess glasses, and yummy baby food.

Lukas found his basket Easter morning.  He got candy, glasses, chalk, bubbles, and a Cars2 color kit.

Megan's "sunnies"!

Mr. Lukas's cool sunglasses!

It was a bitter sweet Easter.  My Grandma passed away that day, but my children and husband still made the day for me.  Celebrating with them helped me still enjoy the day.  Rest peacefully Grandma.  We will carry on the Easter celebration every year like you always did!
